ABOUT

Back in 2002, a group of longtime friends decided Casper needed more than just a caffeine fix—it needed a gathering place. With a big dream, a little creativity, and a lot of late nights, they transformed 241 David Street into Metro Coffee Company. From day one, Metro was more than a coffee shop—it was a home for the community, a spot to swap stories, and the go-to place for a solid cup of coffee.

Over the years, Metro changed hands but never lost its local heart. John Norgaard and his step-son Nelson Giese kept the dream alive for over a decade, making sure Metro stayed a Casper staple.

Then, as the stars aligned, Sean Peverley and his partners saw the perfect chance to take Metro to the next level. They expanded to the east side of town, and even began baking fresh bagels in-house—because nothing pairs with a great cup of coffee like a fresh, local bite.

Today, Metro is still the spot where Casper wakes up, winds down, and connects over coffee. Come grab a cup, meet a friend, and be part of the story.

Metro is about all of those things and about instilling it in the people that we work with. A career in the medical field for 15 years drove me to be adamant about quality and service – those things we will always strive for. I am part of two Wyoming brands and also a design studio in Casper. Wyoming is my home, it’s where I’m from and it’s where I’m rooted – deeply.

I love where I’m at in life with my jobs. working as a barista and florist allows me to build relationships with customers and to make an impact on their day whether it’s a simple cup of coffee or a little bouquet. i enjoy being able to create new things at both my jobs, but have learned being a barista is much more than pulling shots and steaming milk.
